The BIM Specialists (TBS) is built on over 20 years of electrical design and construction experience, with more than 18 years dedicated specifically to BIM. Our background spans engineering firms, electrical contractors, and manufacturing environments, giving us a complete understanding of how projects move from concept to installation.

We bring more than just modeling - we bring leadership, structure, and proven execution. TBS was founded on real-world experience leading teams, developing standards, and delivering high-quality coordination on complex projects. Our focus is on creating accurate, buildable models that support efficient installation in the field, not just design intent on paper.

Our experience is built on supporting large-scale, complex electrical construction projects across industrial, healthcare, and mission-critical environments. Through leadership roles within established organizations and ongoing consulting efforts, we bring a depth of experience that translates directly to project success.

  • Projects ranging from small-scale consulting engagements to over 1,000,000+ square feet

  • Electrical construction values up to $250M+

  • Extensive experience in automotive and industrial manufacturing facilities, including large-scale, high-demand environments

  • Additional experience across data centers, healthcare facilities, and educational institutions

  • Coordination across multi-trade systems, including mechanical, plumbing, and structural
     

Our team has played key roles in the delivery of complex projects—ranging from hands-on modeling and coordination to high-level project leadership. This includes leading BIM efforts on large-scale manufacturing facilities, overseeing internal teams and trade partners, managing modeling and coordination workflows, and ensuring drawing quality and consistency across fast-paced project schedules.

With over a decade of experience in BIM leadership, we have developed and implemented company-wide standards, built and trained teams, and managed BIM execution across multiple large projects simultaneously. This combination of strategic oversight and hands-on expertise allows us to adapt to project needs while maintaining a high standard of quality and performance.
